my family and i ( the four of us) left hong kong for paris, normandy and london on the 25th of june which is 3 days after i arrived in hong kong. on the trip to paris, i met louis koo when i went behind to pass something to one of my maids in business class sec, who surprisingly was sitting next him. he was napping at that time so i didn;t get his sig. after two days settling in paris, relaxing from the mild jet lag, we took two hours train to normandy ( 2 hours from paris). OMG, entrire trip was extremely boring ( although i did gain a lot of knowlege about the war), my brother was crazy about it and surprisingly he knows a lot. Anyway, after four days in normandy, we took 2 hours train back to paris and start crazy shopping. In paris, we watched "can can" dancing and enjoying top class champagne ( nothin for my little brother, haha) @ moulin rouge ( hundreds of half naked woman dancing ) very engaging and exciting performance, recommend ). Despite this is my fourth time in paris, this is actually my first time visiting moulin rouge, the reason is that everytime my parents visit moulin rouge for the show, they seldom saw any children so they thought 18 and below are not allowed in. Anyway, this visit is unforgettable and would really wanna visit again the next time i am in town. After 6 days in paris, we flew to london for another 5 days. i didn't buy much from london but visited quite a few museums and attended two musicals (mamma mia - abba and lion king). Again, these two world class performances are very engaging, especially mamma mia, quite different feeling from the one i watched in hong kong a few years ago. last thursday which is the 12th of july, i arrived back in hong kong. The jet lag was not as worse as i thought it would be. thanks for my parents's clever planning of first going to paris then flying to london. ( london time behind paris one hour). hong kong--> 2 days in paris--> 4 days in normandy--> another 6 days in paris--> 5 days in london--> hong kong. i actually wished i could spare out a few days to go to taiwan but the winter break holiday is too short and i have to fly back to melbourne this saturday at 7 p.m. |
